Airpark Day Takes Off November 15

The Friends of Everglades Airpark, Inc., welcomes the community to learn about careers and hobbies in aviation on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the very first Airpark Day. We are fortunate to have the Everglades Airpark as part of our town. This event is planned to celebrate the history and future of Everglades Airpark. An Air Tour Company will be on hand. Patrons will have opportunities to win plane and helicopter rides. Food and entertainment will be provided. 

Lorenzo Walker Technical College will be on site to do demonstrations along with the Civil Air Patrol, flight instructors, EEA Young Eagles Flight Program, Caloosa Country Music and Cool Cruiser Antique Car Club. 
Donations will be accepted. With the opening of the new Everglades Visitor’s Center, the future is bright for Everglades City and its Airpark. Come enjoy this family event. Airpark Day, November 15th at McLeod Park, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Golf carts will transport any fly-ins to the park. Brought to you by Friends of the Everglades Airpark.
