Like an Old Friend

Coastal Breeze News is proud to announce the acquisition of the Mullet Rapper! We’ve watched this publication grow since Patty Huff first started it in 2000 with the goal of giving Everglades City and the surrounding area a true ‘local’ voice. It’s sort of like meeting an old friend, as many of you already know Coastal Breeze News as we know you.

I’m Valerie Simon the owner/publisher of Coastal Breeze News. I’ve been involved in newspapers for almost 50 years and community service for longer than that! I truly believe in ‘LOCAL MATTERS’ when it comes to publications serving their communities.

We’re having difficulty with the website, so we’re launching a new website, which will be parked at THEMULLETRAPPER.COM. This will be THE official go-to site for The Mullet Rapper when it goes live. It will take a week or so to start populating the new website. Look for all our info at TheMulletRapper.com.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with your story ideas, photos, events, comments and suggestions. We would love to hear from you! Thank you for picking up this edition of The Mullet Rapper!
