Swamp Heritage Festival

Come to the Annual Swamp Heritage Festival, Saturday, December 6th, 2025, from 10:00 to 3:30 in Big Cypress National Preserve.

This year, we hope to inspire visitors to see Big Cypress as a place where 'Art Meets the Wild'. Through artistic talks, cultural demonstrations, thrilling stories, music, and hands-on activities, we will explore the ways in which people have found endless inspiration in the swamp.  We strive to provide opportunities to learn about the different lens' that people look through to see the Big Cypress National Preserve.
