Marco Island, Florida
I would like to submit a letter to the editor for your consideration.
As Marco Island voters prepare for upcoming City Council elections, I’d like to encourage everyone to take a close look at three candidates who I believe have the experience and leadership our city needs at this time.
I believe that Darrin Palumbo has demonstrated collaborative leadership and a commitment to our community during his time as Council Chair. His financial expertise and business background have helped move important initiatives forward.
Jason Bailey brings business experience and a record of public service as Planning Board Chair. He understands the city’s zoning and development issues and approaches problems with common sense and sound judgment.
Chris Ricci offers a combination of executive leadership and public service. His work on the Beach and Coastal Resources Committee and the Audit Advisory Committee has given him experience in both environmental stewardship and fiscal oversight. With a background in law and engineering, he has relevant skills for the role.
Marco Island benefits from leaders who are prepared to make thoughtful, informed decisions. I believe Darrin Palumbo, Jason Bailey, and Chris Ricci are strong choices, and I encourage my fellow residents to learn more about them.
